Alan Dakay

Alan leads the development of Miga’s valuation and analytics business and is actively involved in Miga’s new business development efforts with hospitals. He brings over 25 years of successful senior-level operating experience to Miga in healthcare, financial services and consumer packaged goods businesses.

Prior to Miga, Alan was President and CEO of Citi Home Equity, where he was responsible for driving over $45 billion of annual home equity loan origination. He was also President of American Enterprise Life, an insurance subsidiary of American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise). Alan’s previous experience in healthcare includes roles with companies such as Park Nicollet Health Systems and – a health-care services start-up. He began his career with positions in consumer packaged goods at General Mills and Procter & Gamble. Alan’s other entrepreneurial endeavors included the founding and start-up of Plain Jayne Software, Inc. (an online survey business) and New England Consultants.

Alan earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering, magna cum laude, from La Salle University, Philippines and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is married with two children, is an avid golfer and travels the world searching for the perfect ice-cream.
