Stuck in a Service Contract? Maybe Not.
If you have service contracts covering medical equipment that have not yet expired, you may think your hospital needs to wait to negotiate price reductions or changes to coverage to save money until each contract expires. Guess what? Don’t assume your suppliers won’t help. Many, once they understand your needs, are willing to renegotiate coverage so you can lock in savings now versus waiting. Your suppliers benefit by locking in your business for multiple years and it can be a win-win for both sides of the relationship.
