Senior Account Manager
Our Senior Account Manager will build and manage a customer base of hospitals and healthcare organizations that will contract with Miga to manage all their used medical equipment needs. We are looking for an accomplished account executive with a proven track record of growing sales and profitability from new or existing customers as well as the energy, enthusiasm, entrepreneurial mind-set and desire to help grow Miga’s business in their assigned territory.

Personality Required:

  • Entrepreneurial interest: We are a growing firm that is regularly adding new products; we seek someone who has worked in entrepreneurial environment. You must be comfortable in managing the day-to-day, but also willing to participate in design of new products.

  • Small-firm mindset: Comfortable working independently and willing to work outside their role to move the company ahead.

  • Passion for growth and its rewards: We want someone who shares our passion for growing the business and assumes the mindset of an owner. We also expect that as the company grows that you will share in the rewards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with medical equipment or related products
  • At least 3 years selling directly to the healthcare/hospital industry.
  • Outside sales or account management experience for an OEM in a hospital environment desirable.
  • Some entrepreneurial experience desirable.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new clients and growing existing accounts.
  • Outstanding customer relationship management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiating skills
  • Proven ability to identify client needs and deliver compelling solutions to help solve the client’s needs.
  • Team player
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical thinker
  • Comfortable with the fast pace of an entrepreneurial business.
  • Willing to travel between 30% - 60% within upper Midwest area.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell Miga’s services to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
  • Develop new business and manage profitable growth of existing accounts.
  • Present solutions to key hospital decision makers to help their hospitals become more profitable.
  • Maximize the amount of used medical equipment that customers direct to Miga.
  • Work closely with Miga’s Sales Specialists – an inside sales team based in Plymouth, MN – to maximize returns for hospital clients.
  • Become a “trusted advisor” on used medical equipment for your accounts.
  • Provide on-going customer relationship management to all accounts.
  • Manage all process and documentation related to all activities related to your accounts.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Commission-based with salary plus draw against commissions. Unlimited upside potential.
