Accounting Manager/span>

Position Overview:

Our Accounting Manager will operate the day-to-day accounting functions and work with CFO to analyze the business (see below). You will responsible for creating a rock-solid accounting base that allows for excellent information to manage our growth, cash needs and current position. The Accounting Manager position is full-time position located in Plymouth, MN.

Primary Responsibilities::

MONTHLY
  • Bank Reconciliation and compliance reporting
  • Cash Management
  • A/R and A/P
  • Invoicing and sales support
  • Process payroll and related taxes
  • Manage the monthly closing and prepare financial statements
  • Calculate commissions/draws
  • Reporting for commissions and clients
  • Coordination with client accounting department as needed
  • Vendor set-up
  • Work with CFO on management reporting & analysis of business
  • Minor support of Miga Foundation (our Non-Profit)
  • Office management (process of HR forms, etc.)
QUARTERLY
  • Sales tax filings
ANNUAL
  • Assist with annual audit
  • Assist with annual tax return
  • Year-end payroll (W-2/1099’s)
  • Prepare information for insurance review/renewals

Desired Background:

Required for current and/or recent experience:
  • Service Firm
  • Accounting/Invoicing sales (consulting, service or asset sold)
  • Company size – under $15 million
  • Current and/or recent experience in Accounting Manager
  • 5-7 years of accounting/accounti
  • Currently using Quickbooks and very fluent in all functions

Medical Equipment Sales Consultant (Inside Sales)
Miga Solutions is seeking a Medical Equipment Sales Consultant to sell used medical and lab equipment to Miga’s established network of resellers and hospital end-users around the world. This is an inside-sales representative job based in Plymouth, MN. We are looking for an accomplished sales professional with exceptional telephone-selling skills and a proven closer with experience working complex sales via phone and e-mail. The ideal candidate must have the energy, desire and enthusiasm to help grow this entrepreneurial company’s sales.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of pre-owned and surplus medical equipment via telephone/e-mail on behalf of Miga’s hospital clients
  • Get maximum value for our customers’ equipment from Miga’s global network of buyers and distributors of medical products
  • Work as part of a centralized national sales team located in Plymouth, MN.
  • Identify, engage and negotiate sales terms on medium to large capital equipment
  • Provide a “one-stop solution” to the buyer and ensure ease-of-purchase that generates a superior buyer’s experience with Miga.
  • Project management and documentation of all sales activities.
  • Weekly reporting of sales and shipping activity.
  • Coordination of shipping and logistics to ensure delivery to buyers
  • Support Miga’s marketing efforts by participation in industry conferences and trade shows as needed.

Account Manager
We are looking for a top performer and a team player to fill an account management position working with hospitals in the upper Midwest. The position will involve developing relationships with materials management, finance and biomedical staff to grow Miga’s business with existing accounts. Position is based in Plymouth, MN. Up to 60% travel with limited overnight trips. Compensation package includes base salary, commissions, and benefits.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience selling capital equipment, supplies or services to hospitals is preferred

Biomedical Technician
Love what you do but ready for a change? If you are a skilled biomed and have interest in working for a service provider instead of a hospital, we might be right for you. This position is primarily responsible for conducting medical equipment functional and safety testing as well as completing minor repairs on equipment available for sale. Additional responsibilities include supporting the sales team with equipment details and product knowledge, and helping establish internal procedures for equipment operation. Position is based in Plymouth, MN. Limited travel in the metro area may be required. Multiple positions available. Compensation packages include hourly and salary opportunities with benefits available.

Position Requirements:

  • 5 years in the medical device /electro-mechanical repair field
  • Positive and motivated attitude

  • BMET certification strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret standards and regulatory requirements
    regarding biomedical equipment
  • Technically able to perform all duties with minimal guidance

Warehouse Personnel
Experienced managing high volume shipping and logistics activities? Enjoy problem solving and looking for an opportunity with significant upward mobility? Keep reading. This position will oversee and direct the activities of the inbound and outbound shipments to ensure clients receive their products in an accurate and timely manner, and that standard procedures are being documented and followed. Compensation package is initially on an hourly basis, with opportunity for salary and benefits.

  • 5 years warehouse, shipping and logistics experience
  • Experience planning and coordinating logistics programs

Webmaster
Creative minded web aficionado wanted. Should be skilled in creative design, layout and graphic presentation. Responsibilities include general maintenance of all Miga web properties. This includes site updates, content management, copy review, design/redesign, navigation changes, uploads, and other actions related to the operation of our public and private web sites. Responsible for monitoring site traffic and patterns, providing reports for analysis, and recommending improvements. Compensation is hourly, with potential for a full time position for the right individual.

Position Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in web content creation, managing web sites, and translating written communications into web pages
  • Experience with ASP.NET, C+,or Visual Basic
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, XML, and JavaScript preferred
